Worth it for / Skip if

Worth it forknowing the bill before you go — the venue publishes S$24 to S$250 a head across the items on record.

Skip ifS$24 a head before drinks is above what the meal is worth to you today.

Every clause above is drawn from a named field in this venue's record — a published price, a booking route, the verified hours — and nothing else.

What it costs

The venue publishes S$24 to S$250 across the items on record. No service-charge or GST note is recorded against every priced row, so no all-in figure is estimated here.

Two people, one item each from the list above, no drinks: budget S$48–S$500. That is arithmetic on the published prices, not a quoted package.

Confirm the current price with the venue when you book. Forkin publishes prices only where a dated public source carries them, and flags it when sources disagree. Source: CUT official dinner menu PDF · CUT official signature dessert menu PDF. Last checked 1 September 2026.

How to get a seat

No online booking channel is on record for this venue. The verified hours below are the only seating information held; treat it as walk-in unless the venue says otherwise.

What to expect

  • MenuA selection of 12 items from the venue’s own published menu is on record, with prices.
  • Dietary requests, dress code and group size — not on record. Ask when you call ahead.

The longer version

CUT by Wolfgang Puck is the chef’s first Asian outpost, in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, holding a MICHELIN star since the guide’s first Singapore edition. The live public record is divided. One dated account praises the dry-aged steaks, the bone marrow flan and the service highly. The other, from an established Singapore food publication, calls it celebrity steak that is overhyped for the price. The desk records a favourable but contested picture rather than a settled one.

WORTH A LOOK · band 7.0–8.4 (base 7.5)

The Forkin Evidence Score is a transparent calibration of the published evidence behind this venue's editorial stamp — not a personal dining rating, and never derived from Google data. It starts from the stamp's base value, applies the five evidence adjustments below, then clamps the result inside the stamp's band.

WORTH A LOOK

Confidence: low

Forkin desk assessment of attributable public coverage — not a personal dining review.

All three counted citations are dead. The SethLui URL returns the site’s "Oops, page not found" 404; The Ranting Panda URL returns "Page not found (404)"; the Look See Eat blogspot URL loads the blog shell but contains no CUT article at all. The record was therefore resting entirely on citations that no longer exist. Two live, dated, exact-outlet replacements were located this pass and counted: The Ranting Panda’s 2 February 2021 review of the Marina Bay Sands outlet, and SethLui’s own bylined review updated 20 July 2013. They conflict sharply — one scores the meal 4.5/5 overall, the other is headlined "Celebrity Steak, but overhyped" — so consensus falls to limited and consistency to low. The newest countable source is five and a half years old, so recency falls to dated; praise specificity falls to medium because one of the two sources is largely critical; and criticCalibre falls from major to established, since the countable set is one established food publication and one personal blog with no major-outlet critic (B20-R3). WORTH A LOOK is retained on two live dated exact-outlet sources, at 7.2.

Caveat: Reviews do not contain explicit legal ownership checks for publishers. Most detailed reviews date back to 2011-2016, though CUT's long-standing Michelin-starred status indicates exceptional consistency over time. Dead-link finding 25 August 2026: all three counted citations are dead. sethlui.com/cut-by-wolfgang-puck-singapore-steakhouse-review/ returns a 404; therantingpanda.com/2016/10/24/... returns a 404; the Look See Eat blogspot URL loads the blog shell with no CUT article. The 7.8 score was resting entirely on citations that no longer exist. Re-evidenced 25 August 2026 with two live dated exact-outlet replacements (The Ranting Panda 2 Feb 2021; SethLui, updated 20 Jul 2013). They conflict on the central question of value, so sourceConsensus fell to limited and consistency to low. The newest countable source is 2 February 2021, more than five years old, so evidenceRecency fell from recent to dated. The band would not survive an evidence currency cut-off of five years or less — see the open batch-16 escalation. Pheuron Tay’s account of the same outlet was located and retrieved live but carries no on-page publication date (the only dates on the page belong to sidebar posts), so it is undated under B20-R2 and is recorded as context only.
