Why Vino Tinto scores 7.2

WORTH A LOOK · band 7.0–8.4 (base 7.5)

The Forkin Evidence Score is a transparent calibration of the published evidence behind this venue's editorial stamp — not a personal dining rating, and never derived from Google data. It starts from the stamp's base value, applies the five evidence adjustments below, then clamps the result inside the stamp's band.

WORTH A LOOK

Confidence: low

Forkin desk assessment of attributable public coverage — not a personal dining review.

One countable exact-outlet assessment survives re-verification: The Ranting Panda's dated 20 January 2025 self-funded visit to the One Raffles Quay South Tower tapas bar, which tastes seven dishes, scores them and records material reservations. The second counted source failed this pass: the recorded Spirited Singapore URL is dead, and the live article re-identified on spiritedasia.com carries no byline and no publication date on the page and credits its photography to the restaurant, so it is undated, unattributable and of unresolved independence. Source consensus therefore falls from moderate to limited and the score falls from 7.4 to 7.2; the stamp is retained only through the disclosed one-source provisional route.

What public coverage says

Vino Tinto, the Spanish tapas and wine bar in the One Raffles Quay South Tower lobby from the Canchita and Tinto team, draws one countable independent assessment. The Ranting Panda rated the meal 4/5 overall, calling the pulpo a la brasa a must-order for its tender octopus and smoked chipotle mayo and praising the crystal-bread tosta, but found the seafood paella rice a tad dry and wanted more char on the fideuá. The value three-course business lunch at S$46++ is singled out as the draw.

Caveat: Sponsorship/hosting, affiliate, and publisher-relationship checks remain unresolved. Citation failure 24 August 2026: the recorded Spirited Singapore URL (spiritedsingapore.com/2025/01/vino-tinto-one-raffles-quay/) returns 404. The live article was located at spiritedasia.com/2025/03/vino-tinto/, but it carries no byline and no on-page publication date — the only date signal is the URL month — and it credits its images to the restaurant. It is reclassified from counted to context only and the record now points at the live URL. Re-assessment 24 August 2026: source consensus lowered from moderate to limited on a single countable source; the score fell from 7.4 to 7.2 and the stamp is retained only under the disclosed one-source provisional route.
