The Forkin Evidence Score is a transparent calibration of the published evidence behind this venue's editorial stamp — not a personal dining rating, and never derived from Google data. It starts from the stamp's base value, applies the five evidence adjustments below, then clamps the result inside the stamp's band.

WORTH A LOOK

Confidence: low

Forkin desk assessment of attributable public coverage — not a personal dining review.

Re-evidenced 17 Aug 2026. One countable source remains: jiaksimipng, 25 May 2025, on the exact East Coast Road outlet, whose independence is positively declared. Its verdict is favourable but explicitly qualified. Re-searching found no additional independent dated coverage — the remaining material is DanielFoodDiary, a crowd-review directory, and social video. Single-source, provisional, low confidence; the previous 8.9 top-band score is not supportable.

What public coverage says

jiaksimipng’s May 2025 review of the 93 East Coast Road teahouse praised the Purple Glutinous Coconut Bliss for a dense but not gritty texture and well-balanced coconut fragrance, and found the Longan Ya Shi Xiang tea rounded off the palate nicely. It concluded that despite an initial hype-train impression the teahouse has a fair bit of substance, while flagging limited dine-in seating and uneven flooring.

Last assessed 17 August 2026 · 2 linked substantive sources

Caveat: Single countable source: provisional low-confidence stamp, disclosed as required. The score sits low in the WORTH A LOOK band accordingly. jiaksimipng carries no per-article payment disclosure; independence rests on the publisher’s standing About-page declaration of anonymous, self-funded visits, which is the basis batch 6 established for counting it. DanielFoodDiary (17 May 2025) remains context only under the standing no-verifiable-date ruling. localoria.com is a crowd-review directory, not attributable editorial coverage. Seth Lui and other coverage found this pass is short-form social video without a substantive written assessment. Re-searching on 17 Aug 2026 found no coverage of this outlet later than May 2025, so the assessment still rests entirely on opening-period material.
