Why Scarpetta scores 9.2
FORKIN WORTH IT · band 8.5–9.5 (base 8.8)
The Forkin Evidence Score is a transparent calibration of the published evidence behind this venue's editorial stamp — not a personal dining rating, and never derived from Google data. It starts from the stamp's base value, applies the five evidence adjustments below, then clamps the result inside the stamp's band.

FORKIN WORTH IT
Confidence: mediumForkin desk assessment of attributable public coverage — not a personal dining review.
Four countable dated exact-outlet reviews published between February and December 2025 all recommend the restaurant, two of them describing ordinary walk-in visits with queueing. All four are independent blogs rather than major critics, so critic calibre stays at independent.
What public coverage says
Four independent dated reviews of the Amoy Street pasta bar published across 2025 all recommend it. The Ranting Panda scored the overall experience 4.5 out of 5 and said every dish was good or excellent; Chue On It admitted to arriving sceptical about the low prices and being proven wrong; World Traversal queued as ordinary walk-ins and judged the quality good and the pricing reasonable; Alexis Cheong visited after the opening hype subsided and reported well-executed pasta in a comfortable room. Recorded qualifications are minor and practical: long waits, a one-hour dining limit and a middling value score on drinks.

The previously stored Alexis Cheong URL returned 404; the live article was located at a corrected URL and re-dated to 12 December 2025. The Honeycombers piece is a pre-opening preview visit and is retained as context only, following the rule that a pre-opening look is invited access. All four countable sources are independent blogs; none is a major critic or an anonymous inspectorate. Batch 32 re-retrieved all four counted sources: all returned HTTP 200 with no invited, hosted, media-tasting, complimentary, sponsored or advertorial disclosure marker, and their DOM publication dates match the recorded dates. The stamp and score are unchanged. Batch 32 corrected the recorded publication date of the Honeycombers context row from 2025-02-05 to 2025-02-14, which is the date published in the page's own DOM metadata. The row remains context-only (pre-opening preview). Standing limitation, unchanged: all four counted sources are independent blogs. There is no major-title or inspector assessment of this outlet, which is why criticCalibre stays at 'independent' despite the top-band stamp.
