House Downstairs

House Downstairs is a homegrown cafe at Ulu Pandan Community Club serving Asian and brunch fare such as laksa goreng, craygee (crayfish paofan) and avocado toast. It was opened in 2021 by local YES 933 DJ Chen Ning and her friend Chong Yanjing, formerly a barista at now-defunct cafe Strangers' Reunion. On 26 August 2026 Chen Ning announced via Instagram that the cafe will close on 3 November 2026 because its lease at Ulu Pandan CC is expiring; it remains open for business until that date.
