Dan's Steaks (Serangoon Gardens)

Dan's Steaks, the last remaining outlet (Serangoon Gardens, Maju Avenue) of former radio DJ Daniel Ong's steak restaurant chain, will close after six years of operation. Ong announced on Instagram on 28 July 2026 that rising food, staff and rental costs, plus debts from three previously shuttered outlets, have made the business unsustainable, and said in a follow-up post that closure is expected "in a few months" -- no exact closing date has been announced. The venue remains open and trading as of this listing.
